‘People’s lives – their real lives, as opposed to their physical existences – begin at different times.’ The Dark Half by Stephen King (1989)
This started a line of thought (as King’s often quirky snippets of wisdom does). When did YOUR life really begin? …or are you still waiting for something to announce you? Listen guys, we are, like, living on the brink of something cataclysmic (if you don’t feel it, there is something wrong with you). I mean, the prophecies are all fine and, well, probably gobble-dee-gook, but its there, hanging over our heads despite that; but what I’m trying to say has nothing to do with Doomsday-prophets…its something all around us, a kind of atmosphere, or aura of expectation (not quite foreboding). So, my question is, don’t you think you should really consider to start living your life NOW, instead of skulking around, wondering where the hell to go…and all the while this ‘storm’ is brewing just over the horizon like something in a James Cameron movie. I mean…what if there IS no tomorrow?
